MEMORIST, the European leader in heritage preservation, plays a leading role in this undertaking as a long-standing player in the safeguarding of collections and archives linked to the world of sport. Since 2008, the five MEMORIST companies have been at the forefront of sports heritage preservation<\/a><\/span>, digitising and preserving the precious artefacts that shape our collective memory today. MEMORIST’s first mission was to digitise the film and video archives<\/a><\/span> of the French Tennis Federation, capturing emblematic moments such as Yannick Noah’s training sessions or Boris Becker’s exploits at Roland Garros.<\/p>\n

Leader in sports heritage preservation<\/h2>\n

Over the years, MEMORIST and its five companies have worked on various sports heritage preservation projects around the world. From the digitisation of the National Rugby League’s video archives to the restoration and digitisation of the French Football Federation’s collections, MEMORIST has preserved the history of sport for future generations.<\/p>\n

Among its most notable projects, MEMORIST’s collaboration with the Mus\u00e9e National du Sport<\/span> in Nice has resulted in the digitisation of glass plates, photographs and emblematic objects, while the digitisation of L’Equipe’s photo collection has safeguarded five million historic photos.<\/p>\n
