• Digitisation of 31,000 hours of audiovisual archives

INDIA TV began to modernize its content in July 2023, with the digitization of 31,000 hours of archives. The project, led by our Vectracom team and SRSG, aims to preserve India’s audiovisual history. Threats to physical media include chemical and biological degradation and format obsolescence.

Vectracom will provide its expertise and state-of-the-art equipment to facilitate the transition to digital media. The digitization will provide easier access to archives, optimized management of multimedia assets and simplified marketing of content. This project consolidates MEMORIST’s position as the world leader in audiovisual heritage preservation.
