MEMORIST Digitises the Mosan Medieval Heritage Collection

It’s no longer the Middle Ages!

As part of a project led by the Wallonia-Brussels Federation (CFWB), the Mosan medieval heritage centre (Maison du Patrimoine médiéval mosan) has embarked on a campaign, entrusted to MEMORIST, to promote part of its collections.

Located in the prestigious “Maison espagnole” (Spanish house) of Bouvignes in Dinant, the centre’s mission is to introduce visitors to the historical heritage of the Meuse valley, through its exhibitions and cultural activities.

The project involved photographing 57 items, made mainly from copper and brass, to create a high-quality visual record. Fifteen of these items will undergo 360° imaging and will then be modelled in 3D, providing new ways of accessing and interpreting the objects.
